Central Washington University Students Assist with Salmon Recovery, Gain Field Skills

In late June, Mid-Columbia Fisheries welcomes ten new interns from Central Washington University.  The students will be helping with a variety of tasks, including:  stream surveys, project development, monitoring relocated beavers, project stewardship, environmental outreach, and removing rock dams that block fish passage.  Each intern will volunteer a minimum of 200 hours, receive college credit for their work, and build valuable field skills.
