Monitoring
Monitoring, Beavers, Cotton Wood, Fish, and So Much More
Mid-Columbia Fisheries core mission requires delving into many aspects of the diverse ecosystems that we work within. In order to make the greatest impact, show project success, or simply understand components that are not fully understood; MCF puts a great deal of effort into the monitoring components.
Water Stargrass
Water Stargrass chokes the lower Yakima River and has directly impacted spawning habitat of Fall Chinook.
Temperature
Coming soon! MCF is actively collecting temperature data in Bull Trout habitats and around the basin. A comprehensive temperature database will be available soon.
Beavers
We are always trying to spread the stoke on beavers and their impacts. Link below is a brochure, and also download our Survey123 to provide your beaver observations!
